Delete Your Account

This page explains how to delete your GameOS account and the data associated with it. GameOS is a team management app for youth sports teams operated by GameOS.
Option 1. Delete in-app
If you can sign in to GameOS on your phone, the fastest way to delete your account is from inside the app:
- Open the GameOS app and sign in
- Tap your profile in the top-right corner
- Tap Settings
- Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete account
- Confirm the prompt
Your account is removed immediately. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.
Option 2. Request deletion by email
If you cannot sign in, or you prefer to request deletion in writing, email us from the address on the account you want deleted:
Subject: Delete my GameOS account. We process all deletion requests within 30 days and will reply to confirm when the deletion is complete.
What gets deleted
When your account is deleted, we permanently remove:
- Your profile (name, email, phone number, profile photo)
- Authentication records and sign-in identities
- Your push notification tokens
- Messages you sent in team chats
- Your player records (jersey number, position, photos) where you are the player
- Guardian links you created
What may be retained
A small amount of data is retained after deletion, either because the law requires it or because it belongs to other team members:
- Payment records: Payment receipts, refund records, and tax-related transaction history are retained for up to 7 years as required by U.S. tax and financial regulations. These records are pseudonymized after account deletion (no name, email, or contact info; only the transaction).
- Team content created with others: If you were a coach or director, the schedule, roster structure, and team settings you created remain with the team for the other coaches and parents who still depend on them. Your name is removed and replaced with "Former member."
- Aggregate logs: Anonymous error logs and request logs (no personal identifiers) are retained for up to 90 days for security and reliability.
